Vernal hanging parrots streak across the forests in emerald shards. Hanging parrots are unique among parrots for their acrobatics, contorting themselves every which way to access fruit, and their ability to sleep upside down. In the evening they cry shrilly heading to their roosts, specks disappearing across the sky, just the barest hint of spring green visible.
