These are the Anamalais – the Western Ghats, the cradle of Indian biodiversity, and essentially distilled beauty. I am at somewhat of a loss for words to describe them further – rest assured, you will get looks at the parts of this magnificent whole as the days and weeks roll on.
Can’t wait to seem em! I was there this weekend and had quite the time with spotted deer and mongooses ❤

I had the good fortune of encountering stripe-necked mongooses, albeit usually at distance and never with camera handy – I look forward to seeing your posts though!

Wow the stripe-necked fella looks like such a distinguished comic book villain. Unfortunately, the rains kept the others, except the deer, wild boars and elephants, at bay for me. Happy spotting!
